Refuelling and the diesel price

ETS2 + ATS

Why you pay the real pump price of the country when you refuel, not the price from the game.

Read
On this page4

When you refuel, the app books the diesel straight away – with place, litres and price per litre. You do not have to do anything, and you do not have to wait for the end of the job.

The real price, not the one from the game#

In Dispolotse I do not use the price shown at the pump in the game. You pay the real diesel pump price of the country you refuel in – the full price with all taxes, just as a driver pays at a filling station there.

  • If you refuel in a country with its own currency, the price is converted to euros the way it really is in that country.
  • I refresh the prices for Germany once a week and the prices of the other countries once a month. Next to every price you see its date. So the same litre in one country may cost a little differently today than a few weeks ago.
  • The price in the game can be much lower or higher than the real one. A full tank in a country that looks cheap in the game can therefore cost more in Dispolotse than you expect.
  • Where Dispolotse knows no real price for a country, the price from the game applies there.

What a litre costs in every country right now is on the page Diesel prices – all countries and states with the date of each price.

What you see after refuelling#

After every refuel you get a refuel message, for example: "Refuelled in Bosnia: 400 l x 1.94 € = 776.00 €. Real pump price dated …". At the end it says which date the price is from. You also find the price per litre in your account statement and in the job statement on the Drive page.

AdBlue is booked as its own line, separate from diesel.

In America (ATS)#

In American Truck Simulator the real US diesel prices apply. The app shows them in dollars per gallon and in euros per litre and books them in euros. More: ETS2 and ATS.

My tip#

Where diesel is cheap is for you to find out – look at the refuel message after refuelling and compare the countries on your routes.
