Live map

ETS2 + ATS

The live map: where you and other drivers are right now.

On this page6

The map shows you all of Europe: where jobs start, where you are right now and — if you like — where the other drivers are on the road.

Jobs on the map#

Every flag stands for a city where jobs start — the number on it tells you how many. You can search for a start city, filter by weight, follow your position with "Follow me" or show everything with "All of Europe".

Layers#

Under "Layers" you switch on what you want to see: base map, roads, cities, jobs and vehicles.

The roads of your game world#

The map can show the roads of your own game world — including your map DLCs and mods. For that it is built once from your game ("Create map", takes a few minutes the first time) and then stays on your PC. If your game world changes, the app updates the map ("Update map").

The live map#

If you want, the map shows every driver who is on the road right now. The first time, the app asks whether you want to join in ("All drivers on the map") — you can switch it off again at any time.

  • Filters: "My VTC only", "Show names", "Animate vehicles"
  • On the road you see drivers, rental vehicles, automatic jobs, goods runs, building material, pick-ups and deliveries — including the dealer's vehicles.
  • Click a vehicle to see: who, which job, tractor, trailer, cargo, route, how far to go, arrival.
  • Your own vehicle wears the accent colour; a ring means "standing right now". Zoomed far out, busy areas light up.
  • You can search for a driver or a VTC and jump straight there.

The map in its own window#

With "Map in its own window" you move it to a second monitor, "Always on top" if you like. You can save your view and bring it back later.

The live map on the home page#

This is what is happening in Dispolotse at this moment: where the dealer is building, what is coming off the lines in his plants, which of his trucks are on the road, which jobs are waiting in the freight market and how many players are driving. New every five minutes. Above the map you switch between Europe (ETS2) and North America (ATS).

The dealer starts from zero#

🚧 Welcome to a world that is alive. The dealer starts from zero too — just like you with your first yard or your VTC. Every hall, every workshop, every truck on his yard has to be built, paid for and staffed first. His empire with branches across Europe (ETS2) and America (ATS) grows job by job — and, just like in real life, that takes time. So give him a little patience at the start: you are there when it all comes to life.

Why the dealer is deep in the red: building his yards, plants, workshops and warehouses has cost him a fortune. Every job, every purchase and every rental with him helps to bring him back into the black — and the better his cash stands, the faster he expands and opens new branches. Pure economy at work.

What the dealer lives on#

How the dealer earns his money: 💰 He sells and rents out trucks and trailers · 🔧 he repairs and services your vehicles in his workshops · ⛽ he supplies your yard fuel stations with Diesel and AdBlue · ⛽ he earns when you fill up near his sites or in one of his rental trucks · 🚛 he sends his own drivers on jobs. From that he pays wages, materials, construction sites and the wear of his fleet — real money in, real money out.

This is Dispolotse: a completely real economy in ETS2 and ATS. Every player, every VTC and the dealer play by the same rules — and every job you drive moves something.

What the map shows — and what it does not#

Standard game map with its DLCs only. Players appear anonymously — no names, no companies, only an approximate dot (rounded to about 5 km). The dealer's truck positions are estimated from departure and arrival. Map drawing: our own, based on Natural Earth (public domain); North America: the outline of the game map with the state lines, distances in miles and kilometres.

During the beta

The live map gets the look of the in-game map: road numbers, icons for fuel stations, workshops and companies, dark map colours and more detail the closer you zoom in.
