Branches and the dealer network
ETS2 + ATS
The dealer's main location and branches: what each one has, what "on site" means and which loads the dealer puts on the freight market.
The dealer has a main location and builds branches step by step. That is how his network grows across the map. Where he already is, you see on the dealer overview under "Locations on the map".
What a branch has#
Each branch is built up on its own — with its own store, its own fuel station (diesel and AdBlue) and its own workshop. A new branch starts from zero: first the yard, then store, fuel station and workshop are added.
While a branch is still being built, the app tells you: "The dealer is still building up the stores here and asks for a little patience." If a location has no workshop yet, the app says so.
"On site" — what it means for you#
- Buying and ordering: if the branch in your city has something in stock, it comes at once, no freight exchange needed. Otherwise it comes from another location that really has it in stock.
- Collecting: when you buy, you choose the location where you collect ("Where do you want to collect it?"), with the number available there.
- Workshop: if you hand your vehicle to the dealer, he decides which branch takes it.
- Diesel and AdBlue: when you order for your yard's fuel station, the load comes from a location that has stock.
Loads "for the dealer"#
To get goods, materials and vehicles to where they are needed, the dealer puts loads on the freight market. You recognise them by "for the dealer". Examples are resupply for a store, material for a building site, the return run of a rented vehicle or balancing between two locations. You can drive them like any other load.
All current loads of the dealer are on the dealer overview, tab "Loads" — with "Show on the freight market".
The network keeps growing during the beta. Which cities come next is the dealer's decision.
