Finding and inviting drivers

Looking for new drivers? Besides the applications that come to you, you can approach drivers yourself in the driver exchange: drivers without a company who want to be found are listed there with their details – and you can invite them.

Who is listed#

Only drivers who do not belong to a company and have switched their entry on themselves. Every entry is off by default.

Searching for drivers#

Choose the filters and click "Search":

• "Game" – ETS2 or ATS
• "Language" – a language the driver speaks
• "Driving style (measured)" – Standard, Race or balanced
• "Employment" – subcontractor, employee or both

There is no free-text search over drivers. The list is split into pages ("Page … of …").

Each driver card shows the name (or "Driver without a visible name" if his profile hides it), "Registered since …", his languages and games, how he would like to drive, his short text, the measured driving style and "Driven: … jobs · … · … h". In ATS distances read "mi (km)". Money, fines, number plates or e-mail addresses are never shown.

Driving style is measured, not stated: in the tachograph every job counts as a race job or a standard job – the app measures it itself. The card shows what prevails – "Standard", "Race" or "balanced" (as many of each) – plus the number of race and standard jobs and the race share in whole per cent. "Not measured yet" means: no measured job yet.

Inviting#

1. Click "Invite" on a driver.
2. As what? Only the kinds of employment that suit him and you are offered (subcontractor or employee).
3. "Message to the driver" – a few friendly words, no links.
4. Send. The app confirms: "Your invitation to … is on its way."

What the driver sees: your company with your advertising text ("How the company presents itself"), "Invited by …" with your name, the employment and your message. If you have already invited him, his card reads "Invited on … – waiting for a reply"; there is no second invitation then.

Good to know:

• You can invite even while you are not taking applications.
• The number of invitations a company can send and a driver can have open is limited. When the limit is reached, the page tells you.
• If a driver has declined, you can invite him again only after a while.

Sent invitations#

Under "Sent invitations" you see every invitation with its state:

A company sees only its own invitations – never who else has invited the driver.

Showing your company in the driver exchange#

Under "Find a company" drivers see your company with its name, motto, games, language, number of members, whether you are taking applications, your measured driving style, the line "Driven so far: … jobs · … · … accidents · … severe accidents · … heavy-load jobs" and your advertising text.

In the card "Your details in the driver exchange" (in the browser: "Your company in the driver exchange") you set two things. The owner and anyone with the right "Edit company profile" may change them.

• "Languages in your company" – four at most
• "We are looking for drivers for" – ETS2, ATS or both

You do not state a driving style – it is counted from your drivers' jobs.

Your presentation is the advertising text from your profile#

There is no separate field for the driver exchange: as your presentation the exchange shows the advertising text from your company profile. You write and change it in one place only:

• In the app: in the tab "Profile" under "Advertising text"
• In the browser: in the Company office › "Company profile" under "About us" – the card in the driver exchange links there

Everyone who finds your company sees this text. It appears on your card under "Find a company" as "How the company presents itself" and with every invitation you send. Say who you are and where you drive. Links are not shown there – a web address in the advertising text is simply left out in the driver exchange. If the advertising text is empty, no presentation is shown.

A public list of all companies is still to come on the homepage: there every company presents itself with its name, advertising text and its public figures, with a filter for companies looking for drivers right now.
