Still driving on your own and looking for a company? In the driver exchange you find companies that suit you – and if you like, the companies find you too.

  • In the app: COMPANY › page "Companies" › card "Driver exchange"
  • In the driver area in the browser: menu "Company" › "Driver exchange" (tabs "Find companies" and "I am looking for a company")

The driver exchange is for drivers without a company. If you are already in one, you only see the note "You are in a company - your entry stays off until you leave it."

Find a company#

Under "Find a company" pick what matters to you and click "Search":

FilterMeaning
"Game"ETS2 or ATS – only companies looking for drivers in that game
"Language"the language spoken in the company
"Driving style (measured)"Standard, Race or balanced – how the company's drivers actually drive
"Employment"subcontractor, employee or both
"Only companies taking applications right now"hides everyone who is not taking anybody on at the moment

There is deliberately no free-text search here – only these filters.

Each company is listed with:

  • its name, motto, its games and "Looking for drivers for: …"
  • "Language in the company: …" and "Members: …"
  • "Taking applications right now" or "Not taking applications right now"
  • the measured driving style (see below)
  • "Driven so far: … jobs · … · … accidents · … severe accidents · … heavy-load jobs" – the figures of the whole company, in ATS with distances as "mi (km)"
  • "How the company presents itself" – the advertising text from the company's profile, if it has written one. The driver exchange does not show links in it.

If you like one, apply as usual – see Apply to a company.

Driving style is measured, not stated#

Nobody can enter a driving style – neither you nor a company. It is counted from the jobs: in the tachograph every job counts either as a race job or as a standard job – the app measures it itself. The exchange shows what prevails – there are exactly three results:

  • Standard or Race, e.g. "Driving style (measured): Standard · 12 race jobs · 30 standard jobs · race share 29 %"
  • balanced – as many race jobs as standard jobs, e.g. "Driving style (measured): balanced · 15 race jobs · 15 standard jobs · race share 50 %"
  • "Driving style: not measured yet" – there is no measured job yet

The race share is shown in whole per cent. For you, your own jobs count; for a company, the jobs of all its drivers. It is a statistic, not a rating.

I am looking for a company – your entry#

Under "I am looking for a company" you can show yourself. Your entry is off by default – nobody sees you until you switch it on.

  1. Switch on "My entry is visible in the driver exchange".
  2. "Which languages do you speak?" – four at most.
  3. "Which games do you drive in?" – ETS2, ATS or both.
  4. "How would you like to drive?" – as a subcontractor, as an employee or both.
  5. "A few words about you" – optional, no links.
  6. "Save". The app confirms: "Saved - your entry is visible."

Below it, "This is how companies see you:" shows exactly what others see of you.

Who sees your entry? Only owners and drivers whose owner has given them the right "Invite drivers" in their company. Your entry is never shown publicly on the homepage.

What they see: your name (if your profile shows it, otherwise "Driver without a visible name"), since when you have been registered, your languages and games, how you would like to drive, your text, your measured driving style and what you have driven (jobs, distance, hours). Never shown: money, account balance, fines, number plates, e-mail address, where you are right now or who else has invited you.

You can switch the entry off at any time – switch off, "Save".

When you join a company, your entry disappears. If you leave it again, your entry is switched on again automatically. If you do not want to be found after that, simply switch it off.

Invitations#

Only companies can invite you, and only while you are in no company. Under "Invitations" you see the invitations you have received – each with:

  • the company with its advertising text ("How the company presents itself") and "Invited by …" – the name of the person who invited you
  • "As: …" – subcontractor or employee
  • "Message: …" – a few words from the company
  • the state: Open, Accepted, Declined, Withdrawn or No longer available

For an open invitation you can write a few words under "Your reply" (optional, no links) and then:

  • "Accept" – the app asks once: "You are joining …. Depending on the company you start with a driving test or a trial period. Your other open invitations and applications end with this." Confirm, and you are a member.
  • "Decline" – the company receives your reply. It cannot invite you again right away.

A company can invite you even while it is not taking applications – after all, it asked you itself.

⛔ Drivers who are in a company cannot be invited. No poaching: while you are a member you are in no list and no other company can invite you. Invitations you received before joining end when you join.

Companies on the homepage#

Companies also present themselves publicly on the homepage – this list is still to come. There every company appears with its name, advertising text and its public figures; a filter shows only those looking for drivers right now. Money and drivers are never shown there – nor is your entry from the driver exchange.

ETS2 and ATS#

You decide which games you drive in; a company states which games it is looking for drivers for. In ATS distances are shown in miles with kilometres next to them, e.g. "62 mi (100 km)".
