The dealer builds for you

ETS2 + ATS

The dealer's crews and construction machines build your yard: cost estimate, materials, waiting time, progress.

You do not build your yard yourself: the dealer does the building — with his crews and his construction machines. Because other drivers build too and the dealer builds for himself, you may have to wait a while. The app shows you how long.

The way#

  1. Buy land ("My yard" › "Land"). A notary appointment follows: "Notary: ownership in … days". Until then: "This plot can only be built on after the notary appointment."
  2. Choose a building block ("Build"): the yard first, then parking space, office, store, fuel station, workshop hall, work bays. As long as there is no yard: "There is no yard on this plot yet. Everything else is built after it."
  3. Look at the cost estimate — see below — and confirm.
  4. Get the materials there: the loads are on the freight market. You can haul them yourself, another player can haul them, or the dealer does.
  5. Let it be built: a crew and the machines come to your yard ("The dealer brings it.").
  6. Done: "finished — being handed over", then the block stands; the machines go back.

The cost estimate#

Before every order the app shows the "Cost estimate":

LineMeaning
"Construction …" and "Land …"the building price and a share of land
"due immediately …"what is debited when you order
"Materials … loads · at most …"how many loads of material are needed, and what they cost at most
"… machines · at most …"the construction machines the build needs
"Building crew …"the crew's work
"Construction time … days"how long building takes once it starts
"later at most …" / "in total at most …"what may still come, and the upper limit for everything

"Material and machine runs only cost money if nobody drives them." If you haul your material yourself or another player takes it, that part falls away.

Under "How fast should it go?" you choose whether one or two crews work on your build — with more crews it is finished sooner.

Waiting time and progress#

Every project shows a time — never a place number:

DisplayMeaning
"Next in line" / "Next in line shortly"it is about to start
"About … hours" / "About … days"roughly how long it still takes
"Waiting time cannot be estimated yet"an exact time cannot be given yet

Plus the state: "Materials on the way — building starts once everything has arrived" · "Site ready, waiting for a building crew" · "… machines are missing — building can only start once they are here" · "Construction expected to start …" · "Expected to be finished …". For each load it says who hauls it: "A player is hauling this.", "The dealer's own drivers are hauling this." or "A computer driver is hauling this."

Which crews and machines the dealer has free right now, and what is ahead of you on the waiting list, you see on the dealer overview, tab "Crews".

Dismantling and demolition#

You can withdraw an ordered project and have a finished building demolished. Either way: no money is refunded ("You get NO MONEY BACK.").
