Your own yard next to the company's yard
ETS2 + ATS
If you already had your own yard before joining a company, you see both – and can keep building your own, paid from your private account.
On this page4
Many drivers build their own yard as solo drivers and join a company later. Your yard is not lost when you join: as a member you see the company's yard – and next to it still your own. You can expand it as you like.
Switching: "Which yard?"#
- In the app: COMPANY › "My yard" and "Filling station & store" – the card "Which yard?" at the top
- In the driver area in the browser: "My yard" – the choice at the top
Two buttons:
| Button | What you see |
|---|---|
| "Your company's yard" | "You are looking at your company's yards." – as every member sees them |
| "My own yard" | "You are looking at your own yard - building and costs go through your private account." |
The choice appears only if you have your own yard in this world. If you have none, you simply see the company's yard as before. When you open the page, you always start with the company's yard.
What you can do with your own yard#
In the "My own yard" view you are the owner:
- keep building – parking bays, filling station, store and the other building blocks in the yard plan, as described in Own yard, fuel station and store
- cancel a construction in progress
- order diesel, AdBlue and spare parts for your own yard (under "Filling station & store", same choice at the top)
- sell a plot of your own
Everything you build or order there is paid from your private account – never from the company account. In ATS amounts read "$ … (… €)".
A few things are not available in your own view: you do not set the number of building crews there – your yard builds with the usual crew. In the browser you do not buy additional land in your own view.
ETS2 and ATS#
The worlds are separate here too: an own yard in ETS2 appears only in ETS2, one in ATS only in ATS. The "Which yard?" choice follows the world you are looking at.
Bringing your own yard into the company#
If you would rather give your yard to the company, use "Bring into your company" – see Yards, parking bays, filling station and store. ⚠️ This cannot be undone. Afterwards the yard belongs to the company and "My own yard" disappears.
As a member you see your company's whole build-up – all sites, construction projects, workshop, store and fleet – under My VTC.
