Why “Empty Pallets”? – Dispo jobs in the game
ETS2 + ATS
In the game every Dispo job is called “Empty Pallets”. Here is why – and what you really carry.
🚧 Coming soon – Dispolotse Dispo is being built
This is how you will drive Dispo jobs. Your team can already read up – it will be unlocked for everyone later.
In short: In the game you load “Empty Pallets” for every Dispo job. They stand for your real Dispo load – for example 8 t of apples and 5 t of electronics. The app and the overlay show what you really carry.
Why Empty Pallets?#
- The game knows no mixed loads. A job in the game always has exactly one cargo. Your Dispo load often has several parts for different customers, and some of it is handed over to another driver on the way. The game cannot show that.
- So we use a cargo that fits everywhere. “Empty Pallets” is part of the base game of ETS2 and ATS and is loaded at a great many companies. That way the app can attach every Dispo leg as a normal job at the right start company – without a mod.
- Our system keeps your real load. It knows which part goes where and who drives it on.
What you see where#
| Where | What it says |
|---|---|
| In the game, Freight Market tab | a job with the cargo “Empty Pallets” – from the start company to the destination company of your leg |
| In the game while driving | cargo “Empty Pallets” – your truck is as heavy as the real load |
| Dispo in the login area, page “Dispatch jobs (dispatched)” (via “My jobs”) | on every card your real load with the real weight of your parts |
| App, after “Put jobs into the game” | at which company in which city the “Empty Pallets” job is |
| Overlay and Drive page, before loading | “Load now: Empty Pallets at Hanover Expo, Hanover – unload at: LKW Log, Kiel” followed by your real load |
| Overlay and Drive page, while driving | “Dispo · order 2810 · leg 1 of 2” followed by each part, e.g. “8 t apples → Tradeaux, Oslo” |
| Overlay shortly before the destination | “Unload at LKW Log, Kiel: …” – what comes off here and what is reloaded |
What counts#
- The real load is booked. When you deliver the Empty Pallets in the game, your leg is done – our system books the real goods and passes them on to the next driver.
- You are paid for the loaded kilometres shown on the leg's card – not for the cargo shown in the game.
- The weight is right. The app puts in as many pallets as match the real tonnes, rounded to whole pallets. If a double trailer is planned, you get the job as a double.
- Exception, empties: on an empties return the empties really are your load – empty pallets or, at some companies, empty barrels. The app then says “Empties · …” with the number of empty pallets or barrels.
DLC#
You need no DLC for the cargo “Empty Pallets” – it is part of the base game. Whether you see a leg depends only on whether you can drive its cities with your maps: Which legs do you see?
Frequently asked#
The game says “Empty Pallets” – did I get the wrong job? No. Every Dispo job is called that in the game. Your real load is in the app, in the overlay and on your card in the Dispo.
Do I have to look for the real goods in the game? No, they do not exist in the game. In the Freight Market tab, take the “Empty Pallets” job at the start company the app names.
I took another Empty Pallets job myself. Does it count? Always take the job the app put in – with the start and destination company of your leg. Only that one belongs to your Dispo leg.
Why is the weight in the game not exact? The app rounds to whole pallets. If your save game offers no double trailer right now, the leg comes with a normal trailer and the weight the game itself sets for it.
