🚧 Coming soon – will soon apply to all jobs

This rule belongs to the new Dispolotse Dispo, which is being built. It will apply to all jobs – freight market and Dispo legs. Until then, what is written under Freight market applies.

Every job has a delivery date. Traffic jams, ferries or a break can hold you up – that is normal. Being late should hurt, but never bankrupt anyone.

Visible beforehand#

Every job and every leg shows you before you take it what happens if you are late. So you always know what you are getting into.

What a delay means#

  • If you deliver clearly late, you lose earnings and pay a penalty. The later, the more expensive.
  • If you are late again and again, you feel it more than someone it happens to once.
  • A delay does not only hit you but also your VTC – it gave the customer its word.
  • Reliable drivers are rewarded.

As an employee your VTC carries part of the consequences with you. Your fixed salary stays. More about employees and subcontractors: Subcontractors and employees.

If a Dispo leg is not delivered at all, the VTC also pays a contract penalty – see Dispo for dispatchers.

When life gets in the way#

Sometimes life gets in the way – Dispolotse keeps an eye out for that.

🛡️ Safety mode#

After a bad phase, safety mode helps you get back on your feet. It is protection, not punishment.

  • When it applies to you, the game tells you clearly – with a message and a banner at the top of the freight market.
  • It also tells you what you can do to get out again.
  • Jobs already running are finished as normal.
  • Once everything is back on track, it ends by itself: "Safety mode ended – everything is open again".
