🚧 Coming soon – Dispolotse Dispo is being built

This is how you will drive Dispo legs. Your team can already read up – it will be unlocked for everyone later.

A leg is one piece of a long supply chain. You drive your piece, deliver – and another driver takes the goods further until they reach the customer. What the Dispo is: Dispo – what is it?

1. Finding your legs#

  • Employees and subcontractors: in the login area under "My jobs" › "Dispatch jobs (dispatched)" › "For you" you find the legs your dispatcher planned for you.
  • Single drivers and drivers of other VTCs: here you also find public legs a VTC has released. You can take and drive them; the pay goes to your private account.

Before you take it, every leg shows goods, route, deadline – and a penalty line saying what happens if it does not arrive in time. Legs planned in amber are rush orders with a rush bonus in the pay.

The page "Dispatch jobs (dispatched)" – you open it from "My jobs" – has two tabs: "For you" and "Public". Every card shows route, load, the real weight of your parts, "Deliver by …" and the days left, "Paid: … loaded km" with the approach to the loading point next to it as info, plus badges such as Rush order and "Leg … of …".

  • "Take tour" opens a question right in the card – with the contract penalty for this leg and until when you can hand it back free of charge. Only "Yes, take it" takes it; then the page jumps to "My jobs", where the new job is highlighted.
  • "Decline" only exists for a leg planned for your own truck.
  • Legs of a road line carry the line "Line … → … · groupage" – goods of several orders on one trip.

Only what you can drive – which legs do you see?

You only see and take legs whose cities you can drive with your map DLCs – legs into a DLC area you do not own (e.g. Northern Scandinavia or Texas) are not offered to you.

You only see legs on roads of a map other than the base map if the app has detected that map in your game.

You only see and take legs in America if you own ATS – legs in Europe only if you own ETS2. What you do not see you cannot take by its number either.

The app detects which games, DLCs and maps you own by itself: open it once on the PC where the game is installed and start the game. Until then you only see legs on the base map; a newly bought DLC counts once you have started the game and the app once afterwards. A game counts as yours as soon as the app has reported DLCs of that game or you have driven at least one tour there.

Tip: You own ATS without any DLC and see no legs in America? Drive one tour from the ATS freight market – after that they appear.

2. Take it and drive#

  1. Take the leg – it goes into the game like any job.
  2. In the game your truck is as heavy as the real load. If a double trailer is planned, you get the job as a double.
  3. Drive, deliver – done.

It can happen that a leg only goes from one company to another in the same city – it then shows as e.g. "Cologne: A → B". You do not need to have discovered the cities of your legs beforehand: Do I need to have discovered the cities?

3. How your Dispo leg gets into the game#

A Dispo leg goes into your game exactly like any other job, with “Put jobs into the game” – step by step in Putting jobs into the game. A few things are different with the Dispo:

  • In the game the job is called “Empty Pallets”. Your real load is often made of several parts for different customers – the game does not know anything like that. So the app puts in a job with empty pallets. Empty pallets are loaded at a great many companies, which is why the leg fits almost everywhere. All about it: Why “Empty Pallets”?
  • You find it in the freight market tab (German: „Frachtaufträge“) at the start company of your leg: cargo “Empty Pallets”, destination is the company and city of your leg. After putting it in, the app tells you at which company in which city it is. Your lists may also show “Empty Pallets” as the cargo – your real load is shown right next to it.
  • The weight is right. The app puts in as many pallets as match the real tonnes of your parts. So your truck drives as heavy as the real load. In the game you see the weight of the pallets – rounded to whole pallets, so very close to your real load.
  • Trailer: you drive with the company's trailer – unhitch your own trailer first. If a double trailer is planned, you get the job as a double. If your save does not offer a double trailer for this cargo right now, the leg comes with a normal trailer and the weight the game itself sets for it.
  • What you really carry is shown in the app: on the drive page and in the overlay, “Dispo · order … · leg … of …” is followed by every part with goods, destination company and city (see “What the app shows”). For a line it reads “Line … → … · groupage”, for an empties return “Empties · …” with the number of empty pallets or barrels, for building material “Building material for …”.
  • When you deliver, you hand over the empty pallets in the game. You are paid for the loaded kilometres shown on the leg's card – not for the cargo shown in the game. If someone else drives on afterwards, you get the hand-over message with the real goods in your postbox.

The leg does not get into the game? The app always tells you why. Find your message under When it does not work. Common causes: the engine is still running, your own quick save is missing, a job is still running in the game, or a company belongs to a DLC you do not own.

4. What the app shows#

On the drive page and in the overlay you read, for example:

  • "Load now: Empty Pallets at Hanover Expo, Hanover – unload at: LKW Log, Kiel" before loading – followed by your real load. The "Empty Pallets" are only the job in the game: Why “Empty Pallets”?
  • "Dispo · order 2810 · leg 2 of 5" followed by the real load with company and city, e.g. "12 t apples → Tradeaux, Oslo".
  • "then Bernd takes over in Hamburg" – or "then a driver takes over in Hamburg" when the next one is not fixed yet. On the last leg: "then: destination reached".
  • "Unload at LKW Log, Kiel: …" shortly before the destination – what comes off there and what is reloaded.
  • "Dispo: 2 leg(s) for you · from Hamburg" when new legs are waiting for you.

Nothing new appears while you drive – no window, no popup, no sound. The extra overlay lines only come while standing still for at least 3 seconds and disappear the moment you drive off. With overlay messages switched off, everything stays quiet.

5. The hand-over#

If your leg ends in a warehouse and someone else drives on, you get a message in your postbox – never while driving:

"Your 13 t of cheese have arrived in Hamburg – a driver is taking them to Oslo."

You only see names of drivers from your own VTC; otherwise it says "a driver".

6. If something gets in the way#

  • Handing back in good time is free.
  • For a public leg: if you hand it back too late or do not deliver, you pay the VTC that offered it. The penalty line shows this beforehand.
  • If you are late, the fair delay rule applies: Delays – fair rules.

7. Messages about your leg#

Every leg you have taken has a short thread with dispatch – on the page "Dispatch jobs (dispatched)" under "Messages about your tours". The jobs themselves are all under "My jobs". One click opens it right in the page.

  • You pick a quick phrase – e.g. "On my way.", "Loaded." or "About … min later." with a minutes field – or write a short message.
  • Writing works only at a standstill. While you drive, nothing is sent: "Writing only at a standstill – stop first."
  • The sender shown there is "Dispatch" or "You" – never a dispatcher's name.
  • When dispatch writes to you, the leg shows "1 new message" – your postbox stays clear, and no window ever appears while driving. "✓ read" tells you dispatch has seen your message.
  • If you took a public leg, you write the same way with the VTC that posted it – only about that leg.
  • Once the leg is finished, the thread is read-only.

8. To the port or airport#

On orders across the Atlantic you only drive your part – even if you only have ETS2 or only ATS.

  • The leg card shows which game you drive in (ETS2 or ATS) and how it continues, e.g. "You drive to the port of Los Angeles – after that ship, then another driver carries on in ETS2."
  • At the port or airport you deliver like on any leg. In the game it again says "Empty Pallets" – why?
  • Ship or plane and a driver in the other game do the rest. You get the hand-over message in your postbox.

9. Goods still under way – pre-booked tours#

Some legs start at a port or airport before the goods are there: they are still on the ship or on the plane. These tours are listed in the section "Arriving soon".

  • Each card shows how the goods are coming and when they arrive – in your time. If the ship is late, the time moves on by itself.
  • The card always shows the start window: after arrival you have up to three days to set off – with the exact date as soon as the arrival is known.
  • Before you take it, the page asks once: "Take it now? … is still under way – arrives … You can only set off after that." Only with "Yes, take it" is the tour yours.
  • How many tours you can pre-book at a time is shown above the list: "You have pre-booked … of … tours."
  • You can only set off once the goods are discharged. Under "My jobs" it then says by when you have to set off.
  • You are told when the goods are there and get a reminder before the window ends – with the route of the leg, in your postbox and never while driving.
  • If you do not set off in time, the tour goes back – with a penalty, as shown on the card beforehand.

How the dispatcher plans such a tour: Pre-booking.

10. My jobs: see the whole chain#

Under "My jobs" every Dispo leg (badge "Dispatch") shows at the top which part it is and how it runs, e.g. "Part 1 of 3 · ATS" – road in ETS2 or ATS, ship or flight.

  • If your leg ends at a port or airport, the closed card already says how far you drive and how it continues.
  • One tap on the card or on "Show the whole chain (… parts)" shows the whole chain: every part with loading, unloading or hand-over at the depot, "Your tour" framed in gold. Parts the Dispo is still planning are shown as not planned yet.
  • Names of other drivers are not shown there.
