Map mods and other mods

Dispolotse reads your tours from the game – whatever map you drive. Officially, though, we only support certain maps. Here you find which ones, and what happens with all the others.

Supported maps#

• The base game of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator with all SCS map DLCs (for example Scandinavia or Iberia).
• ProMods (ETS2) with its official add-ons – see below.

For these maps Dispolotse knows the cities, countries and companies. The freight market offers you tours there, and every tour counts in full – including statistics and rankings.

ProMods and its add-ons#

Middle East, Maghreb and The Great Steppe belong to ProMods. They are not a separate map but part of ProMods. The app detects by itself which of them are active in your profile and shows it under “My map”. You don't need to set anything.

Other map mods#

We don't support other map mods. You may still drive them – this is what happens:

• Your tour is reported and paid, even if it starts or ends in a city Dispolotse doesn't know. The same rules apply as for every tour; no tour is rejected because of an unknown city.
• Such tours don't count for public statistics and rankings.
• The freight market only shows tours on the supported maps. You won't find cities from other map mods there.
• If a tour ends in an unknown city, your truck stays at the last known city in Dispolotse.
• If a map mod rebuilds an area of the base map, a freight-market tour to that area may not appear in your game.

Other mods#

Weather, graphics, sound, traffic and paint mods are fine – they don't change money or the economy.

Not allowed#

Mods that change money or the economy or rename cities are not allowed. What happens with a money mod: Mods that change the money.

Only mods active in your current game profile count – never what merely sits in your mod folder: Do mods count that only sit in my mod folder?
