The chain: from the dealer to your load
ETS2 + ATS
How everything in Dispolotse fits together – plants, dealer, stores, workshop, fuel station and build crews, buying and renting, solo drivers and companies, freight market, money and both worlds.

Nothing in Dispolotse stands on its own. The truck you drive was built in a plant and stood at the dealer's. The spare part for your workshop was brought into the store by another driver. The diesel at your yard's fuel station came as a load through the freight market. This page tells the whole chain once from start to finish – for everyone who would like to know how the parts mesh. To look something up quickly, the links lead to the individual pages.
The chain at a glance#
- Plants build trucks and trailers, one by one on their production lines.
- The dealer takes them into his stock – along with spare parts, diesel and AdBlue. He has a workshop, fuel stations and build crews.
- You buy or rent your vehicle from him, have it repaired there, order parts and diesel.
- On the freight market you find your loads – including the loads the dealer uses to move his goods.
- Every load brings money into your bank account or into your company's account.
- With that money you pay the dealer again: rent, parts, diesel, building work. That closes the circle.
All of this runs separately for ETS2 and ATS – with a dealer of its own in each world –, only your money sits in one shared pot.
The dealer – the centre of the chain#
The dealer is the business almost everything runs through. He has a main location and builds branches step by step. Each location is built up on its own, with its own store, its own fuel station for diesel and AdBlue and its own workshop. The dealer also has build crews and construction machines: they build his own locations – and the yards of drivers and companies.
All drivers see the same stock. What someone else buys is gone for you; what someone else drives into the store, you can buy. How far the dealer has built up, who works for him and what is in his workshop right now is shown on the dealer overview – a shop window that is the same for every player.
Where the dealer gets his goods#
New trucks and trailers are made in the dealer's plants. Whatever is finished waits to be collected.
Goods never appear in the store at the push of a button – they are driven there. For that the dealer puts loads on the freight market, marked "for the dealer": resupply for a store, material for a building site, the return run of a rented vehicle or balancing between two locations. You drive them like any other load. If a run is left lying, the dealer's own drivers can take it over too. More: Branches and the dealer network.
Your vehicle: buy or rent#
At the start you usually drive a rental truck. Rentals come in tariffs per 7 days with included kilometres; you sign the rental contract in the app as soon as you sit in the vehicle in the game. See Renting from the dealer.
A vehicle of your own needs a place: before you buy, you need a yard of your own with a free parking bay and the money in the account. You pay when you order and collect at the dealer's location – or you have it delivered. Later you can sell a vehicle to the dealer; he names his offer as an amount. See Buying from the dealer.
Rent or buy? Both are possible, both cost in their own way. What suits you is for you to find out.
Workshop, spare parts, diesel and AdBlue#
Whatever breaks on a vehicle needs spare parts. If you have no workshop of your own, the dealer repairs; while your vehicle is with him you get a loan truck or loan trailer. See Dealer workshop and loan vehicle.
Everything you reorder comes from the dealer – spare parts for your store, diesel and AdBlue for your fuel station. The delivery always goes to the yard you chose: as a load on the freight market that another player drives, or with one of the dealer's drivers. If the dealer has a branch in your city that has it in stock, the goods are there at once.
You can only ever order as much as your built-up store or fuel station holds.
Solo driver and company: everyone has their own store#
There are three separate stores: the dealer's, a solo driver's and a company's (VTC). None of them is shared.
| Dealer | Solo driver | Company (VTC) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yard | main location and branches | own yard (several possible) | headquarters and further yards |
| Store | own store per location | own store, built up by you | own store per yard, built up by the company |
| Fuel station | own fuel station per location | own fuel station with diesel and AdBlue | own fuel station per yard |
| Where the goods come from | plants and loads "for the dealer" | from the dealer | from the dealer |
| Who pays | the dealer | your bank account | the company account |
You build up store and fuel station in stages. Each stage holds more, and the price rises with every stage. Before you order, the cost estimate shows you everything at once – building, material, machines and build crew, plus the most it can cost in total –, so nothing takes you by surprise.
Nothing is built at the push of a button: you buy land, wait for the notary date, choose the building block, the material is brought in as a load, and one of the dealer's build crews does the building. See The dealer builds for you, Own yard, fuel station and store and, for companies, Yards, parking bays, filling station and store.
The freight market: where the loads come from#
The server builds the loads on the freight market from what the app knows from the drivers' save games: which company in which city offers which cargo with which trailer. With every driver who drives, Dispolotse gets to know more companies, cities and cargoes – so the market only lists what can really be loaded into the game.
Next to the normal jobs you find the loads "for the dealer" and the material and delivery runs to the players' yards. Whatever you accept, you put into your save game with "Put jobs into the game" – in single player and in TruckersMP. See Freight market and jobs.
Money: where it flows#
Everything is game money – not a cent of real money. Even so, every movement is booked:
- Income: every load is settled. If you drive alone, the revenue goes to your bank account. If you drive for a company, it goes into the company account.
- Costs on the road: diesel, tolls, ferries and car trains are booked during the drive. An employed driver drives at the company's expense, a subcontractor pays himself.
- Wages: employees get their wage from the company account into their own bank account; subcontractors get their share of the load. See Subcontractors and employees.
- At the dealer: whatever you pay the dealer – vehicle, rent, workshop, spare parts, diesel, building work – goes to him. The dealer is a business of his own with his own account.
- Bank: overdraft, loans and savings exist for you and for the company. See Current account and bank and The company account and bank.
Every debit appears with its name on the statement. So you always know where your money went.
ETS2 and ATS: two chains, one account#
The whole chain exists twice: in Europe for ETS2 and in North America for ATS. Each world has its own dealer with its own locations, its own stock and its own workshop – the American one starts in Denver. Loads, vehicles, yards, stores and statistics only count in their own world.
Only the money is shared: bank account and company account apply to both games, amounts from ATS are booked in euros at the weekly rate.
You can switch at any time – even to a world you have never driven in. When you start driving, the app also recognises by itself which game is running and switches over. See ETS2 and ATS.
An example: a set of tyres#
This is how the chain meshes in a simple case:
- The tyres on your truck are worn. Your workshop needs a set of tyres.
- You order the tyres from the dealer for your yard's store. You pay from your account.
- The tyres are driven to you: via the freight market, where another driver accepts the load and earns his revenue for it – or by one of the dealer's drivers.
- The tyres arrive in your store, your workshop fits them.
- If the dealer runs short, he puts a resupply load "for the dealer" on the market himself – maybe you will drive it.
Every step is a real drive or a real booking. That is exactly what Dispolotse is about.
